LG G Pad III 10.1 LTE Android tablet with 6,000mAh battery goes official

LG introduced the G Pad III 8.0 Android tablet in South Korea in June. Now, the company has launched a new variant of the slate called the LG G Pad III 10.1 FHD LTE. The brand’s new tablet comes with a built-in kickstand, which allows it to be adjusted up to 70-degrees in four different modes. It also features Time Square UX, which can be used as a desk clock, tabletop calendar, or digital frame.
As its name suggests, the LG G Pad III 10.1 FHD LTE features a 10.1-inch display bearing a resolution of 1,920 x 1,200 pixels. It is powered by a 1.5GHz octa-core processor of unknown make, mated to 2GB of RAM. The slate comes with 32GB of internal memory, which can be further increased up to 2TB by inserting a microSD card.
The G Pad III sports a 5-megapixel camera on both the front and back. It gets 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, and a USB Type-C port connectivity options. It is fuelled by a beefy 6,000mAh battery. The tablet boots Android 6.0 Marshmallow, and also comes pre-loaded with Microsoft Office for Android.
The LG G Pad III 10.1 FHD LTE has been priced at the equivalent of Rs 25,000, and is available in South Korea in a single black hue. The brand will also be launching the G Pad III series tablets in other markets in early next year with the G Pad III 10.1 with a stylus pen.
